SINGAPORE - Fans of historical dramas will be in for a treat this Sunday, when cable TV channel History Asia debuts its first-ever scripted drama series, Vikings.
The drama, which was produced on a US$40 million (S$50.1 million) budget, portrays the world of Viking warriors through the eyes of their society.
The 9-part series was created and written by Michael Hirst, who also wrote the Academy-Award winning film Elizabeth and Emmy and Golden Globe nominated series The Tudors.
