There is only 1 person Andy Lau is afraid of

He may have performed a lot of stunts and experienced a lot of trials in his career, but if there is one thing that Andy Lau is afraid of, it would be his wife Carol.

As reported on Ifeng's website, the "Blind Detective" star joked at a recent fan meeting: "I am not easily scared, but I do fear my wife. Since my daughter is born, I think I have become a father with the least self-respect in the world!"

The actor revealed that Carol will scold him whenever he does anything that might disturb their daughter Hanna, said Asian Fanatics.

Andy, 51, shared, "I would go to my concert rehearsal at 6am, but as soon as I come home, everything must stop.

"Even if I try to practice my choreography, 'someone' (Carol) will warn me. If I start to sing, that someone will shout at me. It's like this every day."

Andy also added that he was only allowed to watch television after his daughter Hanna went to bed.

He is married to Carol Chu Liqian, a former Malaysian beauty queen.

Andy is not the only international superstar who is scared of his wife.

Actor Chow Yun-fat and Oscar-winning director Ang Lee had also confessed that they prefer to give in to their wives to make their lives easier.
