Tickets for singer-composer Liang Wefu's concert sold out within 6 hours

Tickets for renowned local composer Liang Wenfu's first solo concert were snapped up within six hours after going on sale today, according to a statement from homegrown record label Ocean Butterflies.

One of the pioneers of xinyao, a local brand of Mandopop, Liang's concert is slated for April 11 next year.

As to whether an additional concert date will be scheduled, the statement said no plans have been put forth so far, but they will "seriously consider" the possibility depending on response from the public.
