KUALA LUMPUR - The Pool, an entertainment outlet in Jalan Ampang, has been instructed to stop operation for eight days beginning April 8.
The directive came from Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Mansor following attempts by the management to hold a Topless Friday Beach Party at its venue this Friday.
In a statement, City Hall said there was no application for the party and even if there was, it would not be approved as the party does not adhere to licensing guidelines.
"The organisers had also put up an advertisement board without permit," the statement read.
City Hall has also issued a show-cause letter to the club owner asking its operator to respond in writing within seven days, on why its entertainment licence should not be revoked following this.
