Transsexual Malaysian artiste's marriage still going strong

The marriage of local artiste Jessie Chung, a transsexual, and her husband Joshua Beh is still intact, Guang Ming Daily reported.

The couple decided to hold their wedding anniversary celebration every year to prove that they are still in love, it reported.

Last Saturday, the couple, who were supposed to have their ninth wedding anniversary in November last year, had their celebration at their company event.

"It is not easy to go through nine years together. His family accepts me as their daughter-in-law.

"The only regret is that I could not have a baby," she said.

She said she was also puzzled over rumours going around for years that she and her husband had separated.

"We are okay, I also hope that day (divorce) will not come," she said.
