US celeb Gabrielle Union slams hacker over nude photo leak.

US actress Gabrielle Union has informed the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) after nude photos of her were posted online over the weekend.

The photos, together with revealing photos of Kim Kardashian and Vanessa Hudgens, were circulated via social media on Saturday.

They were part of a second batch of nude photos of celebrities obtained when a hacker accessed their files via Apple iCloud accounts, US media reported.

The pictures, which also included nude shots of actress Vanessa Hudgens and US football star Hope Solo, appeared briefly online before being removed, reported celebrity news site TMZ.

Union, the star of cheerleading movie Bring It On, and her husband, basketball player Dwyane Wade, released a statement to TMZ confirming that the images of her are real. They said they are seeking help from the FBI.

The couple said: "It has come to our attention that our private moments, which were shared solely between my husband and myself, have been leaked by some vultures."

The statement said that "since the dawn of time", women and children, and specifically women of colour, have been victimised "and the power over their own bodies taken from them".

"These atrocities against women and children continue worldwide.

"For anyone out there also being affected by these and other hacking and hate crimes - we send our love, support and prayers."

The images of Gabrielle showing her naked in a bathroom were uploaded to anonymous sites 4chan and Reddit, although the latter quickly removed them due to its strict new policy on hacked photographs being shared.
