Weird celebrity memorabilia fans have bought

Celebrities hold a strange fascination for their fans. They are near-divine figures, and their stuff can end up being treated as sacred objects.

So, while it won't surprise you to know that fans fork out hundreds and thousands of dollars for this memorabilia, you might be surprised to know just what kind of memorabilia they are buying.

The website The Chive compiled a list of what fans buy, and how much they're willing to buy it for.

The items range from relatively normal hats and clothes, to leftover food, used tissues, and even parts of the stars themselves.

The prices for those items are just as mind-blowing: US$500 (S$680) for a pair of sweatpants is just the beginning of the price list.
