Sing your way to NDP

If you can carry a tune and want to go to this year's National Day Parade (NDP), here's your chance.

My Paper will be giving away 10 pairs of Aug 9 tickets to our nation's 49th birthday, and we want you to sing your way to the celebrations at the Floating Platform.

While there is no new theme song at this year's NDP, there's a treasure trove of National Day songs and patriotic tunes you can choose from.

Show off your singing prowess through the rousing chorus of Stand Up For Singapore, or the heartwarming ballad of Home - the choice is yours. Feel free to go a capella or play a musical instrument to accompany your vocals.

Just record a video of yourself singing a National Day song and send us the clip, which should be no longer than 49 seconds.

Besides getting NDP tickets, the winners will have their entries featured on My Paper's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/MyPaperSG

Submission guidelines

Please e-mail all videos to mypaperndp@gmail.com

Video clips must not be longer than 49 seconds.

For videos with file sizes larger than 10MB, we recommend uploading the clip to a file-sharing website and providing us with the download link.

Please include your full name, identification card number, home and mobile numbers, and e-mail address.

All entries should reach us no later than Sunday, July 13.
