Singapore Dec industrial production likely fell

SINGAPORE - Singapore's industrial production likely contracted 4.2 per cent in December from a year ago, according to the median estimate of economists polled by Reuters, indicating the city-state's fourth quarter and full-year 2012 GDP will be revised downwards.

Compared with a month ago, industrial production is estimated to have grown 0.4 per cent from November after seasonal adjustments.

Singapore's industrial production grew 3.1 per cent year-on-year and a seasonally adjusted 1.9 per cent month-on-month in November.
