12 injured after 3-vehicle collision on AYE

Stomp contributor Chris was driving along the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) going towards the Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE) this morning (Mar 10) at around 7.30am when he came across a serious accident involving a private bus, a mini-bus and a BMW sedan after Jurong Town Hall Road.

According to the Stomp contributor, the driver of the private bus hit the back of the mini-bus. The impact then caused the mini-bus to hit the BMW.

Around 12 people were believed to injured, most of whom were passengers of the mini-bus.

One woman was lying on the ground bleeding from her head and legs.

The Stomp contributor called for an ambulance and alerted the traffic police to what had happened.

The individuals who were injured were then conveyed to hospital.

Stomp contributor Johnson whose friend was seriously injured after the accident is appealing for witnesses to come forward.

He said in Mandarin:

"My friend was sent to the accident and emergency department.

"I hope those who captured videos of the collision or saw what happened can assist me in finding out about the incident."
