14 arrested in blitz on match-fixing group

SINGAPORE - In a 12-hour crackdown, 12 men and two women were arrested on suspicion of being part of an organised-crime group involved with match fixing.

The operation, which ended on Tuesday, was led by the Criminal Investigation Department and the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau, with support from the Police Intelligence Department.
