17 drug suspects arrested after 16-hour joint enforcement operation

SINGAPORE - A total of 17 suspected drug offenders have been arrested following a 16-hour joint enforcement operation led by officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division, Central Narcotics Bureau, and Singapore Civil Defence Force.
The operation, which started at from 9.30 am on March 17, was conducted at public entertainment outlets and public housing estates in Hougang, Ang Mo Kio, Yishun and Sembawang.
Drugs seized in the operation included one straw of Heroin, two packets of Ice and two tablets of Erimin-5.
Investigations against the subjects arrested are ongoing.
