2 drunk men trade blows in Geylang over fluorescent tube

SINGAPORE - Two middle-aged men started a brawl apparently over a fluorescent tube left in a bin next to a 7-Eleven outlet in Geylang.

According to a report on Lianhe Wanbao, the incident took place late at night on Nov 20, at about 10pm.

In the altercation, the fluorescent tube was shattered, leaving both men cut and bleeding.

An eyewitness said that from their behaviour, the men appeared to be know with each other.

One of the men, dressed in a black shirt, staggered away from the scene and was gone before police arrived, while the other man was left lying in a pool of blood and was later sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for treatment.
