45 condolence sites around Singapore for tributes to Mr Lee Kuan Yew

SINGAPORE - People who wish to leave tributes for Mr Lee Kuan Yew will be able to do so at the Istana, Parliament House, 18 community sites around Singapore, and 25 public libraries.

The Prime Minister's Office said in a statement that condolence boards are available in front of the Istana by the Main Gate from today to March 29 (Sunday).

Similar condolence boards will also be set up in front of Parliament House from 12pm today till Sunday. Those who wish may lay flowers at these two locations too.

Overseas Singaporeans and friends may leave their tributes at all Overseas Missions.

A total of 25 public libraries are also joining in the growing number of tribute sites. The National Library Board will organise a special exhibition on the key milestones of the late elder statesman's public life at the lobby of the National Library Building for the public from March 25 to April 22.

The People's Association also said that six community sites will be ready for the public to share their tributes by Tuesday, 10am. They are Tanjong Pagar Group Representation Constituency (GRC), Ang Mo Kio GRC, East Coast GRC, Chua Chu Kang GRC, Jurong GRC and Tampines.

Another 12 community sites will be set up for the public to pay their last respects from Wednesday, 10.00am.

These community sites will operate daily from 10.00am to 8.00pm, until March 29 (till the end of the State Funeral). PA will telecast the State Funeral on March 29 for residents at the 18 community sites.
