22-year-old man arrested for murder at Teck Whye Lane

SINGAPORE - A 22-year-old man has been arrested by the police on Monday for murder in connection with an 88-year-old woman's death.

According to a police statement, they were alerted to a case of assistance at Blk 115 Teck Whye Lane on April 12 at about 10.57am.

Officers discovered the woman with head injuries at the 9th floor lift lobby. The victim was then conveyed to the National University Hospital, where she subsequently succumbed to her injuries on April 15 at about 4.44pm.

The suspect will be charged in Court on April 29.
