2,200 guests attend state funeral service for Mr Lee Kuan Yew

Foreign dignitaries and close friends of Mr Lee Kuan Yew gathered in Singapore on Sunday to attend the state funeral of the founding father of the city state.

In all, about 2200 guests packed the University Cultural Centre for the Funeral Service of the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew.

The total figure for the number of visitors to the Lying-in-State is 454,687 (with an average throughput of 6,500 visitors per hour). There are currently 131,450 condolence cards at Parliament House.
