23-year-old man arrested after slashing incident at Orchard Plaza

SINGAPORE - A man was left lying in a pool of blood after a slashing incident on the fourth floor of Orchard Plaza yesterday (Nov 27) at around 5am.

A 28-year-old man was sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) semi-conscious, reported The Straits Times

A 23-year-old man was arrested in connection to the case. 

A police spokesperson told Stomp: "On 27 Nov 2016 at 5.49am, police were alerted to a case of voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous means at 150 Orchard Road."

"A 28-year-old man was conveyed to TTSH and a 23-year-old man was arrested in relation to the case."

The photos were posted by Best Viral Videos on Facebook, and was circulating online yesterday evening. 

In the graphic photos, a man can been seen lying in a large pool of blood. He is attended to by a man applying pressure to his neck with a stack of tissues. 

The Straits Times reported that the man had slash marks across his neck. 

Police investigations are ongoing.
