24-year-old man charged over murder of woman, whose body was found in a Toa Payoh carpark

SINGAPORE - A 24-year-old man was charged on Saturday (Sept 5) with the murder of a 23-year-old woman in Toa Payoh.

The victim, Ms Atika Binte Dolkifli, was found dead in a carpark at Block 146A, Lorong 2 on Thursday morning. The alleged crime is thought to have occurred between 9.47pm and 10.33pm on Aug 31.

The accused, Syed Maffi bin Hasan, looked calm when he appeared in court.
