41 arrested in police raids island-wide

SINGAPORE - Police have arrested 41 persons for various criminal offences in a coordinated operation that took place on Dec 9 and 10.
Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the six police land divisions conducted multiple raids at various locations islandwide.
Police arrested 30 men and 11 women for various offences including cheating, criminal breach of trust, housebreaking, unlicensed moneylending harassment, as well as drug-related offences.
Investigations against those arrested are ongoing.
