SINGAPORE - 5 male suspects, aged between 16 and 22, have been arrested on Wednesday for rioting with deadly weapon at Woodlands Avenue 3.
A 21-year old male was attacked by a group of assailants on Tuesday evening. One of the assailants had injured the victim with a knife.
When police arrived at the scene at about 6.30pm, the group of 5 fled.
Police identified the suspects after conducting extensive enquiries and reviewing CCTV footage in the vicinity.
The suspects were arrested at various locations the same day.
The 5 were charged in court yesterday (Oct 17). Those convicted could face a jail term term of up to 10 years or be caned.
