SINGAPORE - There will be 7 long weekends out of the 11 public holidays gazetted by the Ministry of Manpower(MOM) in 2015.
Chinese New Year celebrations will fall on Feb 19 and 20, while Good Friday will be on April 3 and Vesak Day on Jun 1. Hari Raya Puasa is on July 17 while Hari Raya Haji is on Sep 24. Deepavali next year is slated to be on Nov 10, but is subject to change when Indian Almanac is available, usually by the first half of the year.
If there is a change in the date, MOM will issue a media release to announce this.
Meanwhile, the date for Deepavali this year has been confirmed, and the the Hindu Advisory Board (HAB) has advised that Deepavali will fall on Oct 22 instead of Oct 23.
