8 nabbed for attacking guard houses

KLANG - Eight men have been arrested to assist in investigations into an alleged territorial war that left a security guard burnt to death and six others slashed.

Aged between 25 and 56, they were detained from their homes around Klang, said North Klang OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Shukor Sulong.

"They will be remanded until Saturday," he said yesterday.

Guard houses at three high-end residential areas in Bandar Bukit Raja were attacked at about 2am last Saturday.

The first suspect was caught at about 2pm on Saturday followed by seven others between 11.30pm and 4.30am the next morning.
