Abducted baby rescued from suspected baby-selling syndicate

The daily also reported that a baby was rescued from a woman who was believed to be part of a baby-selling syndicate in Jinan, China on June 22.

It all began during a train ride from Henan to Zhengzhou when one of the passengers, Yi Ning, became suspicious after seeing the way the woman was treating the baby.

Yi Ning posted about it on Sina Weibo, a Chinese Twitter equivalent. With the help of several netizens, she managed to lodge a police report at one of the stops at midnight on June 23.

Police found out that the baby was abducted. Two suspects had been detained so far. The police are now looking for the parents of the baby.
