Air force display takes flight

The Mistral Manpads weapon system was one of the displays at the RSAF45@Heartlands Exhibition, which was launched yesterday at Toa Payoh HDB Hub by Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen.

The exhibition marks the RSAF's 45th anniversary this year and showcases the air force's history as well as its capabilities in areas such as search and rescue missions, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.

People can also interact with members of the RSAF Black Knights aerobatics team, and learn more about careers in the air force. The exhibition will also visit Jurong East on Aug 16 and 17, Sengkang on Aug 23 and 24 and Yishun on Aug 30 and 31.
