SINGAPORE - The air quality is expected to remain in the moderate range on Wednesday, according to a statement by the National Environment Agency (NEA).
Thundery showers on Tuesday afternoon helped to improve the air quality, added the NEA. As at 6pm today, the 24-hr PSI was 69-81, which is in the moderate range, with the 3-hr PSI at 56.
There were 3 hotspots detected in Sumatra today, with showers affecting parts of Sumatra and moderate haze observed over some parts of southern Sumatra.
Thundery showers are forecast in the late morning and early afternoon tomorrow for Singapore, with visibility expected to be in the normal range.
