Andhra Pradesh chief minister to visit Singapore

Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu is to make an official visit to Singapore from tomorrow till Nov 14, 2014 at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam.

He will be accompanied by senior officials from the Andhra Pradesh government and a business delegation.

On Nov 13, Mr Naidu will call on Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Tharman Shanmugaratnam will host Mr Naidu to dinner, while Minister Shanmugam will host him to an official lunch on the same day.

On Nov 14, Mr Naidu will meet Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister for Home Affairs and Trade and Industry S Iswaran.

Mr Naidu will be the Special Guest at the Institute of South Asian Studies' Ninth International Conference on "The States of South Asia", where he will deliver a keynote address.

He will also visit the Centre for Liveable Cities, Land Transport Authority, Housing Development Board, Port Authority of Singapore, JTC Corporation, Institute of Technical Education, Urban Redevelopment Authority and the Building and Construction Authority, as well as participate in a CEO Breakfast Roundtable organised by International Enterprise Singapore.
