Australian chef who murdered transsexual wife led double life as prostitute

MORE shocking allegations have emerged since news broke of the murder of Mayang Prasetyo, a 27-year-old Indonesian transsexual.

Marcus Volke, Prasetyo's husband, had reportedly worked around the world as a male sex worker before moving to Brisbane just weeks before he murdered his wife and cooked her on their apartment stovetop, according to The Courier-Mail.

Previously, the couple had both worked in a Melbourne brothel and Volke had also made a living from sex work in Copenhagen.

After moving to Brisbane he was working under the name of Heath XL while his wife was charging up to A$500 (S$558) for her services as an "international escort".

The Ballarat-raised 28-year-old had advertised himself in Denmark as: "Young sexy Australian boy, very friendly and easy going, discreet and professional. I'm very open to all kinds of people, ages and backgrounds but if you are cool, serious and generous then we can be a match!"

Parts of Prasetyo's body were found strewn across the apartment on Saturday night (Oct 4) and some had been cooked. Other parts of her body were found in garbage bins outside.

Volke called an electrician after the contents of his stockpot dripped into an oven and the power went off, reports AsiaOne.

Upon arrival at Volke's apartment, electrician Brad Coyne picked up a foul stench.

Coyne however was assured by Volke that the stench came from the pig's broth that the latter was cooking.

The couple was married in August 2013 and had only moved into the apartment recently.

Volke killed himself after brutally murdering his wife.
