Australian teen charged over racist rant at fast food restaurant

Sin Chew Daily reported that police in Adelaide, Australia, will charge a teenager on March 26 for disorderly behaviour after he hurled racist and verbal abuse at a Chinese staff member of a fast food restaurant.

It was reported that the 19-year-old had gone to the restaurant last Friday and told the Chinese worker that he wanted his burger "made by a white person".

Another patron who heard it asked the man "what's wrong with a Chinese guy making your burger?", to which he replied: "Everything. You don't belong here, do you?"

The restaurant staff then asked the teenager to leave but he started hurling verbal abuse until another patron escorted him out of the premises.
