Bidding for car and light goods vehicle registration numbers 1 to 9999 in the SLD and GBF series will start this Friday (April 15).
The Land Transport Authority announced in a statement on Tuesday that bidding will commence at 8am and end at 4.30pm next Wednesday.
Members of the public who are interested may submit their bids at LTA during the following hours:
Friday: 8am to midnight
Saturday to Tuesday: 6am to midnight
Wednesday: 6am to 4.30pm
Operating hours for the e-lobby is from 6am to midnight daily, including weekends and public holidays.
Each bidder must bid a minimum amount of $1,000. Any offer higher than $1,000 can only be made in multiples of $1.
Each registration number will be suffixed with an English alphabet letter and the numbers can only be used for registration of new vehicle or replacement of existing vehicle registration numbers in an individual's or company's name.
Successful bidders will not be allowed to transfer the vehicle registration number.
The car registration numbers and their suffixes can be viewed at the notice board located at LTA's customer service centre. As for light goods vehicle registration numbers and suffixes, these can be viewed at LTA reception counters.
Otherwise, these are all available online at www.onemotoring.com.sg. Results of successful bids will also be available on this website from 4pm on April 28 and may be used as of the following day.
