 Body of SAJC student identified

JAKARTA - The body of a St Andrew's Junior College (SAJC) student on board Indonesia Air- Asia Flight QZ8501 was identified yesterday, Detik News reported.

Indonesian Nico Giovanni's name was on a list of passengers whose bodies were identified yesterday. The list was published on the Indonesian news website.

Nico, 18, who held a Singapore Ministry of Education scholarship, had studied at Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) and recently completed his first year at SAJC.

The Straits Times understands that he was travelling to Singapore with his parents and brother.

His sister Chiara Natasha, 15, is believed to be in Singapore.

She started attending a foundation English course at the Methodist Girls' School last October and starts Secondary 3 this year.
