Ivete Medeiros says she's lucky to be alive after getting struck by a stray bullet during a robbery in Belem, Brazil.
Her saving grace? Her bra, she told Reuters in a video.
Said Medeiros: "I said to myself 'There's no blood, I wasn't hit' and then a few minutes later I started to feel some stinging."
Her husband Joao feared the worst.
Mr Joao Maurico said: "I thought she was going to die."
Added Medeiros: "He said, 'please take my wife to the hospital, she was shot in the heart!' and then I responded 'No, I wasn't shot."
It turns out the bullet DID hit her but was blocked by her underwire bra. But Medeiros says it wasn't just the underwear.
She said: "I think that God saved me. The bra helped but it was God who saved me."
