Bussorah St restaurant catches fire early Monday morning

Nasrin restaurant, along Bussorah Street, was on fire this morning (Dec 29) at around 5am.

Stomp reader Anonymous sent Stomp a clip of the fire being put out by the SCDF.

The reader mentioned that the smoke came from Nasrin restaurant which is along Bussorah Street.

Smoke can be seen rising from the restaurant as the fire-fighters work to extinguish the fire.

SCDF provided their statement regarding the fire at the restaurant.

SCDF said: "We received a call at 5.15am. We sent two fire engines, one red rhino and two support vehicles to the scene.

"The fire involved contents of a kitchen and was extinguished by SCDF using two water jets.

"No one was injured."
