Caught on camera: Security guard and youth in 'kungfu' fight outside The Cathay

A video of a security guard and a youth trading blows in a fight outside The Cathay at Handy Road has been circulating online.

The footage, which was first uploaded on Facebook on Friday night (Oct 25), shows the pair throwing punches and kicks at each other before they got separated by some members of the public.

According to the description accompanying the video, the uploader said that the fight involved the security guard and "a guy selling keychains", though she wasn't sure what led to the altercation.

This is not the first time footage of a fight in full view of the public has received media coverage. Earlier in September, two middle-aged men made headlines when STOMP was alerted to a video of them fighting one another at Tampines Interchange.
