Cisco police officer found dead with single-gun shot wound at Changi Airport toilet

SINGAPORE - A Malaysian Certis Cisco auxiliary police officer was found dead in a toilet at Changi Airport's Terminal 1.

The Straits Times reported that Lance Corporal Mohana Singam was found dead at 10.50am with a single gun-shot wound to his head. Police said that his service revolver was found beside him.

Singapore Civil Defence Force paramedics on the scene had pronounced him dead.

A Certis Cisco statement said that the 34-year-old was on duty at the time and had worked with the company for seven years, reported Today online.

The Straits Times also reported that he is married, and that no foul play is suspected and investigations are ongoing.

Certis Cisco Auxiliary Police Force commander, deputy assistant commissioner Chua Chuan Seng, said in a statement: "We will assist the family in every possible way and extend our cooperation in the police investigations."
