SINGAPORE - He's the director of Xtron Productions, a company that used to manage singer Sun Ho.
He has been a member of City Harvest Church (CHC), founded by Ms Ho's husband Kong Hee since 1995.
Kong and five others are accused of conspiring to cheat the church of millions of dollars.
They allegedly misused $24 million of church funds to fund Ms Ho's singing career, and purportedly took another $26 million to cover up the first amount.
The prosecution's fourth witness, Mr Choong Kar Weng, 41, said Kong had approached him to become a director for Xtron, a post he took up in 2005. Mr Koh Siow Ngea, who was a witness in May, is the other Xtron director.
But CHC members were responsible for decisions like budgets and staff employment, the prosecution said. And it wanted to know why.
As Xtron director, Mr Choong had said he was "not keen on maximising profits in my dealings with CHC" though this made up the bulk of its income.
