SINGAPORE - A commemorative book marking 25 years of official diplomatic relations between Singapore and China was introduced today (Nov 8) in conjunction with China President Xi Jinping's official state visit to Singapore.
Jointly published by Business China and Chinese daily Lianhe Zaobao, the book chronicles milestones and achievements in the establishment of the bilateral relationship between Singapore and China.
The Chinese book documents the bonds between leaders of the two countries as well as significant collaborations between the business and cultural communities in over 30 interviews, reports and commentaries, Business China said in a statement today.
"Besides archive material, the book records personal experiences and anecdotes of leaders from the political, business and cultural communities in Singapore and China," Mr Chua Thian Poh, Chairman of Business China said.
Lianhe Zaobao Chief Editor, Mr Goh Sin Teck added: "We hope the insights and intricacies featured in this book can further enhance bilateral understanding and lend new perspectives towards the continued growth of the special ties between the two countries."
