IPOH, Malaysia - Police busted a mini drug-processing lab at a house providing catering services here.
Perak deputy comm Datuk A. Paramasivam said the single storey bungalow in Lim Garden was used to process methamphetamine drugs.
He said police raided the house on Oct 12 at about 10.30am and confiscated drugs worth RM2.8 million (S$1.1 million).
"Subsequently the 42-year-old sole proprietor of the catering business was arrested around Ipoh area on the same day at about 12.40pm.
"Later at about 4.30pm, police arrested a 34-year-old foreigner from the house," he told a press conference Tuesday.
The case is being investigated under Section 39 (B) of the Dangerous Drugs Act.
