SINGAPORE - Corridors of a Punggol Emerald block were flooded due to a leak from the pump room on Saturday.
The incident was reported to citizen journalism website Stomp by a resident who wanted to be known only as Megumi.
She wondered why it occurred as the pipes should be new, considering the building is a new Build-to-Order (BTO) block in the estate.
She said: "Since the pipes are brand new, they should not wear and tear during the first year of our stay here."
Earlier this week, Stomp received a report about a similar incident that also occurred in a BTO block in the same estate.
It happened at around 3.30am on Aug 25 after a water pipe burst.
