ECSTATIC: Ms Teh Nguk Cee could not believe her luck when she realised she had won.

SINGAPORE - Her dad called her about a cash win, so she rushed home after work to check their copy of The New Paper.

Ms Teh Nguk Cee was ecstatic when she realised her dad was right: She had won $1,000 in the TNP Bonus Challenge.

"I couldn't believe it at first," said the English private tutor.

Ms Teh, 38, buys a copy of TNP every day and shares it with her dad, 68.

"My dad would read it in the day, while I read it in the evening after work," she said.

"He loves the sports section while I like the people-oriented stories. TNP is unique in these. He calls me whenever he sees something interesting in the paper. He reads some of the stories to my mum, who is ill.

"We will spend the prize on things we like and plan a family outing together."

There are still more prizes to look forward to, including a daily cash prize that snowballs if it is not won.

Just collect a bonus card with Monday's edition of TNP and match the published numbers from Tuesday to Sunday. (Check tnp.sg for what to do if you missed Monday's edition.)

Match a vertical row and you win the prize shown at the top of the row.

There is also an additional World Cup Draw, where two readers will get to fly to Brazil to watch three World Cup matches, accommodation included.

The package, worth $26,000 each, is sponsored by Komoco Motors and official Fifa World Cup partner Hyundai.

To enter this draw, register the serial numbers of the Bonus cards at www.tnp.sg/worldcupdraw

You can register the serial numbers of multiple cards. Xbox 360 consoles, Panasonic XS1 cameras, World Cup replica jerseys and footballs and World Cup mascot Fuleco toys can still be won.
