A teenage boy and girl were found dead early yesterday morning at the foot of a HDB block in Yishun.
Police said they received a call for assistance at midnight and found a boy, 16, and a girl, 15, lying motionless at the foot at Block 803, Yishun Ring Road.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
TNP understands that they were Filipino.
Mr Poon Wai Kit, 28, was walking home from a nearby convenience store when he saw the bodies lying near the rubbish chute area.
The shop assistant said the pair looked like they were wearing sportswear and got curious.
He walked over to take a closer look, only to be shocked.
"There was a lot of blood. It was so horrifying, I couldn't sleep the whole night," Mr Poon said in Mandarin.
Neighbours told The New Paper they heard a loud thud a little after midnight.
When TNP visited the block last night, a group of teenagers, some in school uniform, were seen lighting candles at the 12th storey stairwell.
Police are investigating.
