Dinosaurs and adventure at One KM mall

A dinosaur adventure awaits families at One KM mall this June school holidays.

Until June 18, roaring animatronic creatures will entertain visitors at the mall's atrium, including a Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops and Stegosaurus.

There are activities for the family to join in too. Spend at least $80 at the mall in Tanjong Katong in up to three combined same-day receipts, and you can redeem a pass to the One-derful Jurassic Challenge from the customer service counter at level 2.

The challenge is divided into three obstacle zones, which are open to the public between noon and 8pm on weekdays, and between 11am and 8pm on weekends, with the last entry at 7.30pm daily.

One pass entitles a person to enter one of three zones. If you want to go through a zone again or visit another one, you need another pass. Each shopper is limited to a maximum of two passes per day, regardless of amount spent.

The first zone includes cargo net climbing, plank walking and abseiling. The second features a rope climb; a Tyrolean traverse, a mountaineering adventure sport which involves crossing between two high points on a rope; and a parachute jump in the atrium.

The last zone boasts a 7.3m-high rock wall for climbing, as well as a 16.8m-long flying fox.

Adults and children aged four and above can take part in the activities. All participants must be in proper sports attire, with sports shoes and socks.

They will be harnessed to safety lines while on the obstacle courses, which were designed and built by professionals from rock- climbing centre Climb Asia.

You can also enjoy shopping incentives at the mall till June 18, such as three hours of free parking if you spend $30 in a maximum of three same-day receipts between 12pm and 9pm.
