DPM Teo discusses improving youth links with Brunei

SINGAPORE - Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean today discussed improving youth links between Brunei and Singapore with Brunei's leaders.

He is on a three-day visit to Brunei to further strengthen the relations between the two countries, particularly between the younger generation of leaders.

DPM Teo and the accompanying Singapore delegation had an audience with His Royal Highness Prince Haji Abdul Azim during which they discussed the improving youth links between the two nations.

They also engaged in a dialogue focused on challenges facing youths in the region and the role of young people in strengthening our bilateral relations.

The dialogue involved some 80 young Bruneian professionals, civil servants, entrepreneurs, Universiti Brunei Darussalam students, and volunteers.

Enhancing bilateral ties and regional developments were the main subjects of several other meetings between DPM Teo and Brunei's leaders today.

The three-day visit ends tomorrow.
