SINGAPORE - A reckless driver who was trying to overtake a lorry ended up crashing twice into the road barriers along an expressway.

A video of the incident, which occurred on West Coast Highway last Saturday, July 26, has been uploaded onto Facebook and YouTube.

It was captured by the dashboard camera of another vehicle.

The video showed a white car trying to swerve past a lorry, which was driving on the right-most lane of the expressway, at high speed.

However, the driver appears to lose control of his vehicle and rams into the concrete road divider on the right-side of the highway, citizen journalism website Stomp reported.

Things did not end there, however.

The driver, seemingly still unable to control the vehicle, swerved all the way to the left-most lane and crashed into the opposite barrier before ramming into the back of another lorry.

According to Stomp, some netizens believe that the driver had been racing on the highway before the accident occurred.

The Straits Times reported that no one was injured in the incident.
