KUALA LUMPUR - Police are on the hunt for two pople believed to be involved in the fatal stabbing of a Myanmar national at the Selayang wholesale market here.
The victim was found lying in a pool of blood in a shoplot with eight stab wounds and his throat slashed last Friday.
"Based on the CCTV footage of the area, we believe two suspects are involved," said Sentul OCPD Asst Comm R. Munusamy.
A post-mortem carried out at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital revealed that the cause of death was due to stab wounds to the abdomen of the victim, who is believed to be in his 30s.
ACP Munusamy said police found a knife and drug paraphernalia at the crime scene.
