SINGAPORE - They have worked on some of Singapore's biggest and most popular running events, such as the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore, the Illumi Run, Nike We Run SG, and adidas King of the Road.
Now, the crew at events production company Infinitus will team up with The Straits Times to organise the much-anticipated ST Run at the Hub 2014.
The Sept 28 run will offer participants a scenic route that weaves through the city, East Coast Park and the $1.3 billion Singapore Sports Hub, before finishing inside the new National Stadium - the first running event to do so.
Infinitus will look at providing a wholesome experience, from the start, when race-goers register, to the finish line - where post-race entertainment awaits.
Plans for entertainment along the route are also in the pipeline to give runners that extra boost when fatigue starts to set in.
Infinitus director Jeffrey Foo said: "ST Run did a very good job last year. This year, they have upped the ante by moving to the National Stadium, which is a very big draw.
"It is a national icon, and after so many years, I am sure everyone is waiting to see, feel, touch (it), and run into it.
"It is a huge challenge, expectations are high, and we want to take on that responsibility to deliver a great event."
