Ex-cheerleader accused of raping teen

A former US cheerleader has been charged with rape and sexual conduct with a 15-year-old boy.

Molly Shattuck, 47, from Baltimore, was charged last Monday with two counts of third-degree rape, four counts of unlawful sexual contact and three counts of providing alcohol to minors, reported USA Today.

The mother of three was released after posting US$84,000 (S$108,000) secured bail.

The boy is said to be her son's classmate.

Shattuck, 47, was famous a decade ago for being the National Football League's (NFL) oldest cheerleader, reported the Washington Post. Shattuck and her husband filed for divorce in September.

She is accused of giving alcohol to the boy and performing oral sex on him, according to an affidavit for a search warrant filed in Baltimore County District Court.

Shattuck took the alleged victim, along with her own children, to a vacation house in September.

She put her children to bed and asked the teen to help her walk the dog outside, said court documents. Once outside, she allegedly kissed and fondled him, then performed oral sex on him.

The boy then went up to a rooftop deck, where he, Shattuck, and other teenagers drank alcohol which Shattuck bought.

She said the alleged victim needed to go to bed and she followed him.

According to the affidavit, the boy went into Shattuck's bedroom. She is said to have performed oral sex on him again and told him she would be willing to have intercourse. He decided to leave.
