Facebook page created to explain Government news, views

The latest Government news and views, as well as nuggets on Singapore, festivals and happenings can now be found on a new Facebook page (www.facebook.com/gov.sg).

The page already includes short explainers on the benefits of MediShield Life and CPF monthly payouts among others.

There is also a video featuring a Mandarin performance by local artists to explain the Pioneer Generation benefits.

According to the Ministry of Communications and Information, the page is "a blend of fresh and catchy content, together with the latest Government news and views, all presented in easy to understand bite-sizes".
