Families from South West CDC celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival at Jem

SINGAPORE - Cheers and laughter filled the air at Jem yesterday evening as 25 children and parents from South West Community Development Council celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival.

A Lend Lease press statement released today said that the families enjoyed carrying lanterns, eating pomelos and mooncakes, and playing games at the event which was organised by its employees.

The Mid-Autumn celebration leads up to Lend Lease's Global Community Day on Sep 18, an annual event held annually around the globe.

On Community Day, employees gain the opportunity to volunteer their time and skills to make a difference in the communities where they live and work.

This year marks 19 years in which Lend Lease has volunteered more than 600,000 hours to community projects worldwide.
