Mr Mohd Aidil Khalip was a month into his job as a despatch rider and was on his way to meet a friend for lunch when a cement mixer in front of him suddenly braked.
He moved to the left of the two-lane road, but could not avoid hitting a pickup truck from the back, he said.
He was then flung in front of the truck.
"The next moment, I realised my body was lying in the centre of the lane. I was looking at the bumper of the tipper truck coming towards me."
He fainted briefly, then saw the driver getting down from the truck and standing next to the pick-up.
"I saw my pants were a little torn. The skin had been dragged down, my thigh was totally flattened and my right leg was all bent in. I was screaming. The pain was extreme."
