SINGAPORE - Arsenal Football Club's first team squad arrived at Singapore Changi Airport on Monday evening.

The Gunners arrived from London on an Emirates chartered aircraft that was specially designed for their Arsenal Singapore 2015 visit.

The aircraft features the Arsenal crest alongside images of first team players, Aaron Ramsey, Danny Welbeck, Mikel Arteta and Jack Wilshere on one side of the aircraft, and Santi Cazorla, Mesut Özil, Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud on the other.

The club will be playing two matches at the National Stadium in Singapore for the Barclays Asia Trophy 2015.

During their stay, some members of Arsenal's first team will help Arsenal Football Schools staff coach 60 lucky children aged between six and 12 years old at the Emirates Football Clinic at the Jalan Besar Stadium on Friday.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said he was amazed by how much people know about the club and how popular the Premier League and Arsenal is.

"The digital age has made a miracle of football: when I am in press conferences it sometimes seems that people knew more about our club than I do. Certainly the Barclays Asia Trophy offers the people of Singapore a chance to get to know Arsenal even better," said Wenger.
